Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determine the shooting effect of the laserpuncture to the poultry acupuncture point to egg quality of Quails (Coturnix coturnix japonica). The experimental design used in this study is completely randomized design. Twenty-eight female Quail were randomly divided into four groups. Group I (P0-) being not subjected to laserpuncture, group II (P0+)being subjected to laserpuncture ith no dose group III (P1) being subjected laserpuncture with dose 0.2 J, and group IV (P2) being subjected to laserpuncture with dose 0.5 J). Laserpuncture performed on point of produce Quails eight times in a three-day intervals over a span of thirty days. This research was conducted while observing and recording what day the first nesting quails. Data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis using Anova and Duncan Multiple. Results showed that there was significant of Haugh Unit (HU) and yolk index correlation between laserpuncture treatment (p < 0.05). The results showed that laserpuncture stimulation on the poultry acupuncture point of Quails improve the quality of eggs.
