Abstract

This research aims to know the effect of laserpuncture shoot on the acupuncture point reprodutive of quail (Coturnix coturnix japonica) on the egg production.This research was conducted in the laboratory of Airlangga University for 30 days using a sample four weeks old japan quail. There were three treatments level of dose laserpuncture with three days interval at the Ova point and six days interval at the Hu Men, Bei Ji and Wei Gen points. P0 as a control got laser shot with 0 Joule dose, P1 got laser shot with 0,2 Joule dose, and P2 got a laser shot with 0,5 Joule dose. Every day quail production is calculated. On the final result P2 has the highest Quail Day Production (QDP) at 62,50% and continued with P1 has QDP at 59,10%. P0 has the lowest QDP at 48,30%. The result were analyzed by Analysis of Variance (ANOVA) and followed by Duncan’s Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The result of the study effect of laserpuncture shoot on the acupuncture point reprodutive of quail (Coturnix coturnix japonica) can increase the egg production (p<0,05).
