Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the frequency of urolithiasis events and which predisposing factors were most influential on the incidence of urolithiasis in cats at the Animal Health Service Center in the Surabaya Region for the period 2017 to 2018. The predisposing factors explored included the nation, age, sex, feed, and activity. Data collection was carried out in May 2019 until December 2019. Based on ambulator data, the total number of cat patients was 3886 cats, with details in 2017 of 1739 cats, and in 2018 there were 2147 cats. The number of cats affected by uroginetal cases is 121 cats, with details in 2017 of 59 cats, and in 2018 there are 62 cats. And in the case of urolithiasis there were 63 cats, with details in 2017 there were 35 cats and in 2018 there were 28 cats. The results of the analysis with the regression method showed that only one predisposition had a significant meaning of the frequency of urolithiasis, namely the feed factor (p<0.05).The conclusion is the feed factors had a Odds Raio of 4,813 indicating that dry food had a risk of experiencing urolithiasis by 4.813 time compared to other types of feed.
