Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of giving semiconductor laserpunktur at the growth point to the biometry of the body size of male Bali cows. The acupuncture points of Balinese cattle growth are fired at the points of fei shu (BL 13), xin shu (BL15), and wei shu (BL 21) on the left and right sides of the body at 7-day intervals. This research was conducted in July to August 2018 in Cendono Village, Kab. Pasuruan In this study used 18 male Balinese cows aged 2-2.5 years. Eighteen Balinese bulls were divided into 3 groups. Group 1 as a control treatment without laserpunktur (P0), group 2 by shooting laserpunktur with a strength of 100 mWatt at a dose of 0.2 Joule, group 3 by shooting laserpunktur with a strength of 100 mWatt at a dose of 0.5 Joule, each group consisted of 6 male Bali cows. The data obtained were analyzed by ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) method which was entered into SPSS (Statistical Packed for Social Science) calculations with continued Duncan test if there were significant differences (p <0.05) between treatments and the Kruskal Wallis Test if data distribution abnormal .. Statistical differences between P0, P1 and P2 show there are significant differences in body length and height of male Bali cattle (p <0.05). The results showed that the induction of semiconductor laserpunktur can increase biometry of body size namely height, body length, and chest circumference of male Bali cows. In height and chest circumference, optimal growth occurs in the fourth week by induction of laser spray with a dose of 0.5 Joules.
