Abstract
Penerapan Information and Communication Technology (ICT) pada pelaku usaha dapat mengurangi biaya yang terkait dengan produksi dan proses perdagangan serta meningkatkan efisiensi proses logistik sehingga menghasilkan biaya perdagangan yang lebih rendah dan aliran perdagangan yang lebih tinggi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menyoroti efek ICT pada perdagangan di negara ASEAN dan beberapa negara lain di setiap benua di dunia. Penelitian ini menggunakan jarak antar negara, indeks kompleksitas ekonomi atau Economy Complexity Index (ECI), variable inovasi menggunakan Global Innovation Index (GII), tingkat dana riset suatu negara dengan Research & Development Expenditure (RDE), dan tingkat partisipasi pendidikan dengan Tertiary School Enrolment (TSE). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kombinasi antara ICT dengan variabel-variabel tersebut dapat meningkatkan ekspor bilateral antar negara secara signifikan.
