Abstract

The increasing number of corruption cases in last five years indicates the weakening supervision from APIP towards State and Regional Government financial activities. Referring the Hierarchy of Human Needs theory by Abraham Maslow as the theoretical basis in this research, this study aims to examine the influence of work-life balance on audit quality that intended to Finance and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) auditors. This study is a quantitative research which using primary data with 5-Likert scale questionnaires and adding discussing explanations. Data were obtained from 50 questionnaires distributed to Finance and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) auditors at East Java Representative Office. The statistical analysis used is partial least square (PLS) and the tool used is WarPLS 5.0 with t-test for the hypotheses testing process. The results of the study indicate that work-life balance is negatively affects the audit quality of auditors in Finance and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP).
