Abstract
Salah satu tanaman yang banyak terdapat di Indonesia dan memiliki efek anti fertilitas adalah Justicia gendarussa Burm. f. dari familia Acanthaceae. Daun J. gendarussa telah digunakan oleh sebagian masyarakat di Irian Jaya sebagai obat kontrasepsi pria.
