Abstract
Kanker serviks adalah pertumbuhan sel serviks yang diluar kendali yang disebabkan oleh Human Papilloma Virus. Papanicolaou smear (pap smear) merupakan suatu metode pengambilan sampel sel kanker serviks dari ujung bawah rahim untuk mendeteksi neoplasia intraepitel serviks pra-kanker. Kelemahan dari pap smear adalah membutuhkan waktu yang lama untuk melakukan Screnning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat prototypeDigital Scanning Microscope untuk membantu mempercepat pengamatansel kanker serviks. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode overlapping hasil citra yang didapatkan dari Digital Scanning Microscopeyang telah dimodifikasi untuk melakukan scanning otomatis. Nilai akurasi dari Digital Scanning Microscopeuntuk preparat sel kanker serviks berbasis PC adalah sebesar 89-91% untuk sumbu x dan 73-82% untuk sumbu y, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Digital Scanning Microscopedapat digunakan untuk membantu pengamatan sel kanker serviks.
