Abstract
An abusive act is something that is prohibited in the society.The abusive act may occur in rvery element in the society,such as familiesand relationship. In this case,The abusive erelationship could lead into a cycle of violence and lead the women which become the victims of the relationship to have a post-traumatic disorders which is known as battered woman syndrome. The study aims to analyze the representation of the abusive relationship and the battered woman syndrome in the female model of Solo and Without Me music videos. The study is conducted using a qualitative approach by applying the characteristics of battered woman syndrome and the cycle of violence which is purposed by Lenore Walker. The study found that both music video follows the characreristics of an abusive relstionship in the cycle of violence theory which is purposed by Walker (1979). There presentation of two music videos may have several differences, however the general idea in both music videos are similar. Both of music videos ask the audience to leave the relationship which start to become violent.
