Abstract

The aim of this research was to determine method validation of gas chromatography for organochlorine analysis in temulawak rhizome using QuEChERS kit. This method was employed Flame Ionization Detector (FID) for analysis of organochlorine residue. The method could analyzed only 3 from 4 compounds met method validation requirements on selectivity, linearity, LOD, LOQ, accuracy and precicion. Selectivity was good with Rs > 1,5. Linearity was represented by correlation coefficients (R2) 0,996-0,998. The calculated instrument detection limits were typically in the range 0,29-0,06 μg/ml and quantitation limits were typically in the range 0,96-0,21 μg/ml. Mean recoveries mostly ranged between 71,81 and 96,19 % at fortification levels of 2.0 μg/ml, and relative standard deviation (RSD) 3,69%, 24,67%, 4,25%, and 5,44%
