Abstract
The image is one of the important roles as a form of visual information. The image qualitys will provide the information as a diagnostic tool. The good image quality will give a good diagnostic value since there is no lost information on the radiograph image. One of the factors that affect the image quality is the spatial resolution. This research uses phantom which produces images with a size of 512 x 512 pixels. Voltage variations used by 80 kV and 120 kV and the current used is (140,200,260,280) mA. The data obtained was then analyzed using Matlab software. The first thing to do is determine the ROI, after that it is projected to produce an ESF (Edge Spread Function) value, then the ESF value is differentiated to produce an LSF (Line Spread Function) value, then the value is calculated using FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) to produce MTF (Modulation Transfer Fuction). . The calculation results show that the resulting spatial resolution in each variation has an optimal value, the exposure factor which has the highest resolution is 120 kV with 280 mA current with a spatial resolution value of 4.46 lp / mm. to get good image detail by having a low contrast resolution. The effect of voltage and current does not affect spatial resolution, but on contrast resolution. So the higher the tube voltage and current provided can reduce the value of the contrast resolution, so that the spatial resolution is good.
