Abstract

This study aims to isolate Candida sp. of the vaginal mucosa and saw its relationship with estrogen as an infective factor for Candida sp. This study is a correlational analysis between estrogen and Candida sp. in Friesian Holstein cattle. Candida sp. isolated in the reproductive tract of Friesian Holstein cattle. The concentration of estrogens in milk samples was measured using the direct competitive ELISA method. Candida sp. can be isolated from vaginal mucosa of Friesian Holstein dairy cows and has the highest contamination level of 1.3 x 103. Estrogen and Candida sp. in Adairy cattle have a significant positive correlation with a very strong level of association. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the higher the estrogen, the greater the number of Candida sp. on the vaginal mucosa of Friesian holstein cattle.
