Abstract
Penyakit kardiovaskular adalah penyebab kematian tertinggi di dunia. Salah satu penyakit kardiovaskular yang umum diderita adalah penyakit jantung koroner. Penyakit ini disebabkan oleh adanya penyempitan / penyumbatan pembuluh darah oleh plak dalam berbagai bentuk penyumbatan (stenosis). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meneliti pengaruh geometri stenosis, antara lain elips, segitiga, dan trapesium, terhadap kecepatan aliran darah dalam arteri. Dalam penelitian ini, darah diasumsikan sebagai fluida Bingham-Plastic yang mengalir secara laminar dalam keadaan steady-state.
