Abstract
The aim of this research was to know the shooting effect of semiconductor laserpuncture on the acupuncture growth points of Fei shu, Xin shu and Wei shu to the biometry of male jawarandu goat. Experimental design used in this research was completely randomized design. This research used 18 male jawarandu goat aged 8-11 months old. It was devided into three treatments : 0 Joule (P0) as control, the treatment group with dose 0,2 Joule (P1) and the treatment group with dose 0,5 Joule (P2). The treatment was carried out for six weeks at a six-days interval of lasepuncture shooting. Data were analyzed using ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) followed by Duncan test. Results showed that the P1 has the highest biometry followed by P2, while P0 has the lowest biometry. P0 is significantly different (p<0.05) to P1 and P2, however P1 and P2 are not significantly different (p>0.05). In conclusion laserpuncture shooting at growth point can increase the biometry of male jawarandu goat that were chest circumference, body length, body height and chest width with a dose of 0.2 Joule has the highest result.
