Abstract

Since March 11, 2020, WHO has declared that COVID-19 is a global pandemic. As of May 15, 2020, COVID-19 cases in Indonesia reached 16,496 cases with 1,076 deaths (CFR: 6.52%); in Central Java, it reached 1,115 cases; and in Kebumen Regency, it reached 29 cases. The Kebumen Regency Government held a free mass rapid antibody test program assisted by volunteers. The purpose of holding this mass rapid antibody test program is so that COVID-19 can be detected more quickly and the increasingly widespread COVID-19 can be prevented early. Volunteers were placed at the COVID-19 Alert Post at the Kebumen Regency Health Office. The task of volunteers is to assist in patient data entry for the mass rapid antibody test. The data period analyzed was patient data with reactive rapid antibody tests carried out in traditional markets and supermarkets from May 16 to June 10, 2020, at 31 points spread across 26 sub-districts in Kebumen Regency. The mass rapid antibody test results contained 194 reactive people who would then be referred to the COVID-19 Emergency Hospital in Kebumen Regency to carry out RT-PCR examinations so that they could be confirmed positive for COVID-19 or not. The results of the RT-PCR examination showed that two people were confirmed positive for COVID-19. The cross-tabulation of mass rapid antibody test with RT-PCR shows that the sensitivity and specificity values of the mass rapid antibody test are 28,57% and 98,56%, respectively, so it can be concluded that the rapid antibody test is less practical for the COVID-19 screening tool because the results of the antibody rapid test sensitivity are low, so there is the possibility of more false negatives in this screening tool. Rapid antibody test as a COVID-19 screening tool should be replaced with a rapid antigen test recommended by WHO.
