Abstract
The writer analyzed statement of problems that written in Chapter 1, that is (1) what translating method is used by the writer to translate ITOP Forum brochure at Bali Government Tourism Office and (2) what translating strategy is used by the writer to translate ITOP Forum brochure at Bali Government Tourism Office. From the analyses, the writer found five methods and six strategies that use on translation international tourism brochure about ITOP Forum, which the source language is English and the target language is Bahasa Indonesia. Method translation that used for translating international tourism brochure is word-for-word, literal, faithful, semantic and free translation. While the translation strategies used for translating international tourism brochure are addition, subtraction and transposition from structural strategy then borrowing, descriptive equivalent and synonym from semantic strategy. The writer also had an obstacle since the writer must learn more about translation strategy. There are several benefits of writing this final report the writer knows that ITOP Forum and the writer got an experience in analyzing the method and strategies used in international tourism brochure.
