Abstract
Infeksi parasit usus yang disebabkan oleh cacing dan protozoa merupakan salah satu masalah kesehatan di dunia, khususnya negara berkembang yang beriklim tropis dan memiliki kelembapan tinggi, seperti Indonesia. Faktor risiko infeksi masih tergolong tinggi terutama pada lingkungan padat penduduk yang kumuh dengan sanitasi dan perilaku hidup yang kurang sehat, tingkat sosial ekonomi dan pendidikan yang rendah, dan fasilitas air bersih yang kurang. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengetahui Prevalensi Infeksi Parasit Usus pada Anak di Kelurahan Sidomulyo RT 01 RW 04, Kecamatan Tuban, Kabupaten Tuban Periode 15 Januari - 04 Februari 2021. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif observasional dengan menggunakan spesimen anal swab metode scotch adhesive tape swab yang diperiksa secara mikroskopis dan spesimen tinja yang diperiksa secara makroskopis dan mikroskopis di Laboratorium Puskesmas Merakurak Kabupaten Tuban. Hasil penelitian ditemukan telur Enterobius vermicularis pada 5 spesimen anal swab dari 33 spesimen anal swab dan tinja yang terkumpul. Hasil tersebut menunjukkan Prevalensi Infeksi Parasit Usus pada Anak di Kelurahan Sidomulyo RT 01 RW 04, Kecamatan Tuban, Kabupaten Tuban Periode 15 Januari - 04 Februari 2021 cukup rendah, yaitu 15,15%.
