Abstract

Hand is part of the body that is very important in supporting daily life. Activities such as sewing, typing, cooking require hands off. Activities using the hands, supported by bones, muscles, nerves, and ligaments. Our hands do not escape physical and functional problems. One of these problems is carpal tunnel syndrome. Carpal tunnel syndrome is discomfort that occurs in the wrist due to narrowing of the carpal canal causing compression of the median nerve. CTS sufferers really complain about the symptoms it causes. Carpal bone mobilization can be an intervention option. However, according to some journals it is better with a combination of other therapies such as modality therapy or exercise therapy. It is caused the effect of CBM as a single therapy is not yet clear. Carpal bone mobilization in combination with other therapies can improve motion impairment in extended flexion and reduce the intensity of the resulting pain.
