Abstract

PT. MDC Trans Lamongan is a Business Unit of the Madchan (MDC) Lamongan Group which is engaged in the Tourism, Tour & Travel Bus Rental sector. The travel bus rental process makes it difficult for customers who have to come directly to the place to rent. The purpose of this Final Project is to create a information system by implementing a laravel framework to handle the bus travel rental process online and offline, so that it becomes to run and can minimize errors. This system handles the main process, namely the travel bus rental process, travel bus payments, tour package rentals, tour package payments, bus scheduling, and payment reports that include the rental made. Travel Bus Rental Information System and Tour Packages of PT. MDC Trans Lamongan was built in five stages. The first stage carried out is the identification of data needs which is carried out by interview and observation. The second stage is to analyze the current system problems by making Document Flow Diagrams (Docflow) and Fishbone Diagrams. The third stage is designing the system and database. The system design is described by a Level Diagram which has four main processes, and a Data Flow Diagram (DFD). While the database design was created using the Conceptual Data Model (CDM) which produced 14 entities and the Physical Data Model (PDM) which produced 14 tables. Based on this design, then proceed with designing the input and output forms. The fourth stage is to draw a Flowchart, and implement the design into a program using the laravel framework. The last stage is to test the system. Based on the results of the implementation and testing of the system that are made in accordance with the functional requirements of the business processes in the Travel Bus Rental Information System and Tour Packages of PT. MDC Trans Lamongan, which was made in accordance with functional requirements, which can handle several business processes easily and can display reports appropriately.
