Abstract
Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (CHLB) has an important role in creating a healthy environment and improving the health status of students in Islamic boarding schools. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors related with the CHLB of students in Islamic boarding schools in empirical studies from 2015-2020. Methodology : This study was Literature review, data sources that have been selected and reviewed from 2015-2020 on the Scopus, Science direct, Google scholar, and Garuda. 10 scientific journals were identified that match the inclusion criteria and have gone through the screening stage for titles, abstracts, full text, methodology and study quality. Result : In this review, 8 factors were identified related to the CHLB of students in Islamic boarding schools, including knowledge factor, attitude factor, role and supportfrom others factor, providing education, socialization and information (health promotion) factor, socio-cultural and prevailing norms factor, gender factor, the availability of health facilities and infrastructure factor, and last the availability of health regulations factor. Discussion : To realize a good CHLB, every related factor must be improved, by improving or optimizing the existing health promotion system and establishing good health policies in the boarding school environment.
