Abstract
This study aims to determine the comparison of the appearance of ferning based on the pH level of the cervical mucus of Friesian Holstein. The material used in this study was 10 Friesian Holstein cows. The method of taking cervical mucus using the Metricheck, then measured the pH level of each loan with the help of a digital pH meter then reviewed and dried on top of the object glass in order to get the appearance of each ferning sample. Mucus was then observed with the aid of a microscope at 4 x 10 and 10 x 10 magnification. The results showed that in 10 samples of female cows cervical mucus with different mucus pH shows a variable appearance of ferning
