Abstract
Penelitian ini difokuskan untuk menyelidiki proses implementasi Google Docs untuk penulisan kolaboratif siswa dalam teks recount. Penelitian ini juga mengeksplorasi persepsi guru dan siswa dalam menggunakan Google Docs untuk kegiatan menulis kolaboratif siswa. Metode kualitatif digunakan untuk mengumpulkan dan menganalisis data. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah guru bahasa Inggris dan 46 siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Batuan Sumenep. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perkembangan dalam pengelolaan pembelajaran dan aktivitas siswa. Siswa menjadi lebih terlibat dan termotivasi ketika mereka mengerjakan tugas menulis teks recount bersama menggunakan Google Docs. Selain itu, siswa terbantu untuk mengembangkan keterampilan menulisnya. Melalui kegiatan menulis kolaboratif, mereka dapat bekerja sama, bertukar informasi, memberikan umpan balik, dan lebih memahami teks recount, baik dari segi struktur generik maupun fitur bahasa. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memperkaya penelitian tentang mengajar keterampilan menulis dan memberikan kontribusi tentang potensi dan keuntungan penggunaan Google Docs untuk kegiatan menulis kolaboratif dalam pengajaran menulis teks recount.
