Abstract
To make a good and proper storybook, the writer must know the characteristics and processes of writing used in a storybook to achieve the writer's goal, which is to increase the interest of reading through the written form. In this case, making a storybook for early adolescents, the most important thing is that the writer must fulfill the purpose of the storybook so the storybook can suit the target reader. Two points based on one foreign source were analyzed in this report using the theory of Penny, ur. The analysis showed that there were two essential points found. They are densities and detachment. Meanwhile, two crucial points in the process of writing were used in a storybook. They are planning and editing.
