Abstract

Employees is an important asset for the company, therefore it should be noted the things that can improve the performance of employees. Optimal performance is absolute terms to satisfy the goals of the organization. To be able to have an optimal performance, an employee in his work must have a high motivation and supported by a good working environment. Increased Work Environmental Factors and Work Motivation to become one of the factors that are expected to improve Job Performance of employees. Work Environmental Factors (X) and Work Motivation (Z) into a dependent variable with Job Performance (Y). Job Performance can be increased if the Work Environmental Factors have been applied, with the Work Motivation is mediated by becomes part of the organization. This research was conducted on employees with the status of permanent employees who worked on the Design Division PT. PAL Indonesia (PERSERO). This research aims to know that impact of Work Environmental Factors on Job Performance have an influence on employees of PT PAL Indonesia (PERSERO) and to prove that the Work Environmental Factors have an influence on Job Performance through the Work Motivation. The approach in this study using a quantitative approach. The samples on this research i.e. 64 employees divided into 5 Departments which is Basic Design Department, Hull Construction and Hull Outfitting Department, Machinery Outfitting Department, Electronic Outfitting Department, and Engineering Support Department is drawn using Census Sampling technique. In this research Work Environmental Factors are as independent variables, Job Performance as the dependent variable, and Work Motivation as an intervening variable. Analytical techniques used in this research is the Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this research proves that Work Environmental Factors have an impact on Job Performance, and Work Motivation proved to mediate the relationship between Work Environmental Factors and Job Performance on employees with the status of permanent employees who worked on the Design Division PT. PAL Indonesia (PERSERO).
