Abstract

Press release articles is a written communication that reports specific yet brief details about a case, event, situation, product launch, or other occurring through a website company. To deliver an accurate press release, the translator should employ appropriate methods and strategies to translate press release articles from the source language. In translating, the important thing in translation is to make sure that the readers can understand the meaning in the target language rather than keeping the source's form. The analysis shows that there are three methods found, namely free translation, communicative, and adaptation. Meanwhile, there are six important strategies that were employed, including addition, calque, adaptation borrowing, substation, and transposition. That is the end of the abstract.
