Abstract
Translating company guidelines is a complex thing to do. In this case, the partnership guideline which is part of the company guidelines has many uncommon terms and ambiguous sentence-style. Thus, the writer wanted to observe the translation procedures and methods employed to produce an accurate partnership guideline translation. A partnership guideline is used by the writer for her analysis material. The writer analyzed the data using the theory of translation procedures and methods proposed by Newmark. In the analysis, the writer discovered that the partnership guideline translation employed the faithful method and seven procedures. They are shift/transposition, synonymy, transference, naturalization, modulation, compensation, and couplets. It can be concluded in the analysis results that such a method and several procedures were employed to produce a fine translation.
