Abstract
The aim study was designed to assess the effect of immunoglobulin colostrum on C04, IgA IgG, IgM, viral load and lymphocyte cell count in mv. 10 confIrmed HIV seropositive subjects, aged between 20-30 years were recruited for the study. Blood sample was collected before and after given immunoglobulin colostrums from the participants for the determination of the ove parameters. The result shown CD4, IgA, IgG, IgM, and lymphocyte cell count were sign' lcant difference between before and after given immunoglobulin colostrums dose 400 mglkg y (p<O.05) but not dose 200 mglkg BW /day. However, no clear effect of immunoglobulin colo trum on viral load. The present study showed an improvement in the blood concentration of C 19A, IgG, IgM, viral load and lymphocyte post- mmunoglobulin colostrum administration, suggests possible recovery of cellular immunity.
