Abstract
Pulse rate could describe heart effort to fulfill energy needs which available in power enforce maximally. The faster pulse rate, the higher heart capacity to supply someone's energy. This experiment was done by taking sample randomly, using pre test-post test control group design on the same subject. The aim of this experiment was to know the in11uencc of hyperbaric hyperoxy to pulse rate at physical work with submaximal load. The number of sample were ten people, which are from the students of diving school Yon Kes Mar, ranging from 20-23 years old. Before the experiment was being held, we did the pre test, and soon after that, we took 1 0 people as sample that was divided as control group (K 1) and as treatment group (K~) . The first group (K1) did the physical activity (by pedalling the ergometer bicycle) on norrnobaric norrnoxic condition, while the third group (K)) did the physical exercise (by pedalling the ergometer bicycle) on hyperbaric hyperoxy conditin for 12 minute. At the same time, the heart rate were measured every minute by using heart rate monitor. The collected data were the first heart rate, 0 minute, 1 minute, 4 minute, 8 minute and 12 minute. From Anava test and T-test at level confidence 95%, we could conclude that hyperbaric hyperoxy could reduce heart rate F = 18,587~ p == 0,00 I (p < 0,05). Indeed the result has been seen at minute 0.
