Distribusi Horizontal Scatter Radiasi Obyek Phantom Pelvis Pada Mobile X-Ray di Gedung Pusat Diagnostik Terpadu RSU DR. Soetomo Surabaya.
Tugas Akhir D3 thesis, UNIVERSITAS AIRLANGGA.
Abstract
Has conducted research Horizontal Distribution of Scatter Radiation from Pelvic Phantom exposed by Mobile X-ray in Gedung Pusat Diagnostik Terpadu RSU Dr. Soetomo Surabaya. This experiment's purpose to identification pattern of horizontal distribution scatter radiation and to analized to get safety distance of scatter radiation which created by spread of pelvic phantom in Gedung Pusat Diagnostik Terpadu RSU Dr. Soetomo Surabaya. The experiment is an observational description of pelvic phantom with measuring spread rate of radiation in point A until H using areal surveymeter at 100 em gap from isocenter. Then, the data processed by inverse square law, so
that it can be seen a safety distance from scatter radiation based on Maximum Permeasible Dose (MPD). The result shows that spread rate of radiation at 1 meter gap is not safe for
radiographer, paramedics, and others. However, the safety distance according based on Maximum Permeasible Dose (MPD) is about 3 meters from isocenter. Based on analyzed data, the highest dose rate among the spread of the scatter radiation is at point C= 0,0302 mSv/jam. It shows the effect from independent variables i.e. FID, colimation, object dencity, and exposure factor that result dependent variable: scatter radiation. By that way, we can construct the dose rate at isodistance and the distance at isodose rate (MPD) of scatter radiation which created from pelvic phantom exposed by Mobile X-ray in Gedung Pusat Diagnostik Terpadu RSU Dr. Soetomo Surabaya
