Abstract

Lung Tuberculosis disease occurrence level is increase from year to year. Govemment has implemented DOTS program to prevent Iung Tuberculosis, but in fact, it occurrence level is more increase and there is still lack of knowledge level in understanding over lung Tuberculosis. The knowledge can configure new behaviour which appropriate with knowledge gained. This research objective is to analyse relationship between knowledge level and therapy program implementation compliance behaviour over lung tuberculosis patient. Study used is analytic descriptive method. Technical sampling used is total sampling method with sample size is amounting to 27 respondents. This research correlates knowledge as independent variable and compliance as dependent variable. Research instrument used are questionnaire and check list. Data are analyse using spearmen rho with signification level a<0.05. Research results using rho spearmen conclude that j;0.000 < a=0.05, so that the hypothesis is accepted, it means that there is relationship between knowledge level and DOTS program implementation compliance over lung tuberculosis patient. While positive value 0.697 addressing strong correlation. Conclution of this research reveal there is strong relation between knowledge level about lung tuberculosis and compliance to followed DOTS program in lung tuberculosis patient, so required participate for all health provider to giving counselling/ information concern lung tuberculosis therapy.
