Abstract

"Hypertentions is the sistolic pressure over 140 mmHg and the diastolic more than 90 mmHg. Hypertentions could to relaps, because it was influenced by extrinsic and intrinsic factors. One of way to prevent the relaps is how to obey the diit program. This study was aimed to analyze the correlation between diit obedience with frequency of old case hypertention's patients relaps in interne outpatient of dr. Soegiri Hospital, Lamongan. Design used in this study was cross sectional design, data were colected using quetioner and blood plessure examination. Total samples was 52 respondents, taken by systematic random sampling and data were then analyzed using speannan's rho test with level of significance of= 0,05. The result showed that most of respondent obeyed to their diit in 84,6% and respondent getting mild level of relaps, moderate level in 38,5%. Sperman's rho analyzed that p = 0,029. Its mean that there's a significance correlation between the diit obedience with hypertentation relaps. Its can be concluded that there's a significant correlation between the diit obedience with hypertention relaps, with an assumption that if the patients getting a good obidience in diit program they's been getting relaps in low level. Further studies should involve larger respondents and representative samples with validity and reliable test."
