Abstract

Wound treatment in addition to using pharmacological materials, can also be complementary with the use of herbal ingredients. Black cumin seeds is an herb that contains anthraquinone, madekasoside, tritepenoid and saponin. Other herbal ingredients that can be used for the treatment of wounds Aloe vera, this material contains Thymoquinone, dythymoquinone, thymohidroquinone, saponin, vitamin A, and thiamin. True experiment design was used in this research. There were 21 mice as samples. They were taken according to inclusion criterias and divided into three groups using simple random sampling. Observation result was tabulated and analyzed using compare means statistical test Kruskal Wallis Test. Result of this research shows that there was meaningful difference in third and sixth days inflammation and proliferation phases. Squeezing, edema, plasma of wound burn showed significant value > 0,05 in third day, but in sixth day no meaningful difference. Granulation showed difference in third and sixth day by significant value < 0,05. Wound burn edge unification showed significant value > 0,05 in third day, but in and sixth day by significant value < 0,05. Then, it could be concluded that aloe vera usage was proven to be more effective compared with the treatment of wounds using collision black cumin seeds in accelerating wound burn healing process and reduce any infection risks. Further research there is need to be conducted by time series observation so we can know when inflammation and proliferation indicators ended. A microscopically observation is necessary observed to obtain more accurate result.
