Abstract

Hyperlipidemia is a major factor of cardiovascular disease. Atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease begins to occur is the existence of atheroma (plaque yellowish) containing lipids and cholesterol on artery walls as well as the process of arterial wall hardening and narrowing of the lumen of one of the efforts in preventing and lowering cholesterol levels that have no side effects are physical activities. To the researchers used dose because the dose of submaximal exercise. Because this is not been widely tested in addition, the research on the effects of submaximal exercise blood lipid profile of rats that received high-fat diet. Submaximal exercise in mice given the fonn of exercise time 70% of maximum capacity with a load of3% of body weight .. The draft of "The Separate Sample Pretest - posttest Control Group Design" Sample in this research is a white rat weighing 175-250 grams, about 3 months old, were divided into three groups. Treated for three weeks plus one week of acclimatization. The treatment given in the form of submaximal exercise and food high-fat diet. Results of normality test of normal distribution for all variables p> 0.05. This is discribed K1 weight variable (p = 0.611), body weight, K2 (p = 0.858), K3 weight variable (p = 0.780). Variable Kl triglycerides (p = 0.990), triglycerides variable K3 (p = 0.299), triglycerides variable K3 (p = 0.649). K1 variables total cholesterol (p = 0.974), cholesterol variable K2 (p = 0.742), cholesterol variable K3 (p = 0.945). LDL-c variable Kl (p = 0.061), LDL-c variable K2 (p = 0.699), LDL-c variable K3 (p = 0.945). HOL-e variable Kl (p = 0.941), HOL-e variable K3 (p = 0.972), HOL-e variable K3 (p = 0.870). Results of homogeneity test showed p> 0.05 to all varibael. But ages except under conditions that are not homogeneous because all samples tested the same age. And to Weight p = 0.615, so it is homogeneous Anova test results on the variables of total cholesterol (p = 0.273), HDL (p = 0.051), LDL (p = 0.393) so these values (p> 0.05) there is no significant difference. Anova results of triglycerides p <0.05 has a value of 0.035 so that there are significant differences. The conclusions of this study are (1) submaximal exercise reduce triglyceride levels, but did not reduce total cholesterol and LDL-c in white rats fed a high fat diet, (2) submaximal exercise tends to raise HDL cholesterol levels in white rats fed diets high fat.
