Abstract
"Abstract. Provitamin 85 was the competitive inhibitor of pantothenate kinase-tbe enzyme needed in pantotbenic acid phosphorylation, while the pantotbenic acid was tbe essential nutrition needed in tbe growth of parasite. Provitamin 85 treatment would inhibit tbe growth of parasite and increased erythrocyte aSH level. The objective of tbis study was to find out parasitaemia level and erythrocyte aSH level due to provitamin 85 treatment to Plasmodium berghei infected 8alb/C mice."
