Abstract

The focus of this study is to analyze the merger of Prapen and Panjangjiwo villages and its impact on improving the quality of public service. The main question of this research is whether the merger of those villages has been effective in providing service to the public? Researchers used two data collection tools namely questionnaire and depth-interview. The purpose of the questionnaire is to get the big picture of the response or the community in two villages about the policy. Depth interview was aimed to obtain more detailed information about this policy. The result of this study showed that the merger of Prapen and Panjang Jiwo villages were based on efficiency effort.
