Abstract
Prosperity can be achieved not only through wealth but also from understanding the meaning of poems. It is because some poems contain a unity meaning which shows the way to be prosperous through their formal elements. Each formal element has role to support the whole meaning of the poem. The Prophet is a poem compilation book of Kahlil Gibran. It was translated into many languages. Kahlil Gibran is one of the famous poets in this world who offers romantic, wise, and peaceful words. Furthermore, his words influence people in many countries. Through poems, Gibran offers peace and love. Gibran has carefully chosen his words in order to offer his best poems. It makes the reader are interested in enhancing knowledge about Gibran's words, especially the symbols of prosperity.
