Abstract

Cadre of elderly posyandu has important role in attainment of elderly health status. Their perfonnance can be seen when they doing service in t.able 1,11 and III. In reality, the cadre's perfonnance is still far from good so it must be increased. The effort that must be done is by giving course to elderly posyandu cadre in order to give more skill and knowledge in which also to increase quality of service. The purpose of this study to analize the effect elderly posyandu course on elderly posyandu cadre's performance in Bulukerto village. This study was conducted by pre experimental one group pre-post test design. The sample of this study are 20 cadres, the Independent variable is the course of elderly posyandu cadre. The dependent variable is elderly posyandu cadre's performance. Data were collected by using interview and observation. Data were analyzed by Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test, with significance level is p:S:0,05. This study resuh that were significant influence of elderly posyandu's course to cadre's knowledge, attitude, and perfonnance. There were increasing level of cadre's knowledge about 14,28%, attitude about 9,61%, and performance about 9,31 %. Conclusion: the course of elderly posyandu's cadre influence to increase the perfonnance of elderly posyandu's cadre. Suggestion: needed the course of elderly posyandu's cadre periodically by health provider from public health center with the course standardized modul, and give reward for cadre which is a good performance.
