Abstract

Personal Hygiene is an action to maintain a hygiene and health person. This condition must be take care by everyone, because various of diseases can happen in consequence of lack of hygiene. Personal hygiene and habits especially in children as the role of their parents. The aim of this research was to analyzed the educate pattern from parents and habituation that influencing personal hygiene at schoolchild. this research used descriptive ahalysis method. The samples were taken by total sampling and there were 29 respondents for this research. the independent variable in this research was the educate pattern from parents and habits. The dependen variable was personal hygiene at elementary schoolchild. Data were collected by using semistructur interview and observation. The data were analyzed by using content analyse and chi square test. The result showed that the educate pattern had no correlation with petsonal hygiene (p = 0,774), but children habituation had correlation with personal hygiene (p = 0,020). It cah be concluded that the habituation had correlation with personal hygiene. to increased personal hygiene in the schoolchild can inctease more knowledge by their parents and the need to attempt discipline for their children.
