Abstract

This research is a descriptive studies which using cross sectional design. The objective is to know the relationship between degree of anxiety with knowledge and time for waiting of the labour. The samples size, 30 by total sampling. The data needed in this study is collected by questionnaire. The data is analyzed with computed statistical to identify the relationship between degree of anxiety with knowledge and time for waiting of the labour by Spearman Corellation test with p ≤ 0.05. The result shows that degree of respondent anxiety in William Booth Hospital is : not anxiety: 3,3 %, low anxiety: 80 %, and mild anxiety 16,7 %. The relationship between degree of anxiety with knowledge p = 0,018 and time for waiting of the labour = 0,016. is proved the knowledge and time for waiting of the labour affect to degrre of anxiety . A ;{ood knowgledge and long time for waiting is factor to change the degree of anxiety. Respondent Anxiety is significantly influenced by the knowledge and time for waiting of the labour. There is a relationship between them.
