Abstract

One of the conservations places for Bali Mynah (Leucopsar f'()thschildl) is Surabaya's Zoo. The monitoring of health of these birds is important in order to support the effort of wild bird animals. Helminthiasis examination was done by fecal examination in order to find the type of helminth in their fecal at Surabaya's Zoo. Basically the identification is their eggs morphology. Fecal samples were collected from 16 Bali Mynah (Leucopsar rothschild1) breeding cages, randomly. Bali Mynah (Leucopsar rothschildi) would be determined positive infection by helminth, if there was found helminth egg. Fecal samples were examined by native, sedimentation, and flotation methods. The result showed that 1 0 of 16 Bali Mynah (Leucopsar rothschild1) breeding cages which were checked by native, sedimentation, and flotation methods identified, that were infected by cestoda. The cestoda was Raillietina cestici/lus.
