Abstract

The Lungs Tuberculosis problems is infection disease caused by microbe Mycobacterium Tuberr:ulosis and i.e. under path respiration disease. Problems of lungs tuberculosis disease is matter of healthy community. The observation has purpose to study association between knowledge level and tinnily behavior of lungs tuberculosis client to prevent infection at work area Puskesmas Pagesangan, Mataram city 2002. Observation design applied is cross sectional, sample taken from family of lungs tuberculosis client at work area Puskesmas Pagesangan, Mataram city 2002 with number of sample 40 person. Data serve table form crossing by chi square on SPSS 8. computer window program with significant level designed a = 0.05. Observation result get, female respondent (55%), 16-25 years old (22.5%), 26-55 years old (77.5%), more than 55 years old (0%). SMPI SMU education level (60%), without education (7.5%), private work (45%), PNS (25.5%). Nmnber of respondent family association as child (52.5%), knowledge level enough (95%), respondent behavior: active behavior (85%), association between knowledge level and active behavior (87.5%). Statistical test result a Chi Square indicate that there is association significantly between knowledge level and family behavior of lungs tuberculosis client to prevent infection at work area Puskesmas Pagesangan, Mataram city 2002. Be get conclusion that knowledge level influence family behavior of lungs tuberculosis client, in this case knowledge enough will help behavior family behavior oflungs tuberculosis client
