Abstract

Many epileptic seizures are triggered by $"ess factors that can lead to decreased hea!Jh epileptic and quality of life. Th.e study used a QuasyExperiment. The population in this study were all adult epilepsy patients enrolled in poly Neurological Clinic Dr. Isaac Tulungagung certain periad. The sample was adult epilepsy patients enrolled in poly Neurological Clinic Dr. Isaac Tulungagungwho experienced relapse, some 20 respondeo.ts. with 10 respondents and 10 respondents interVention group as a control group. Sampling technique used is a cotllleCutive sampling. Data is e:ofulcte4 using questionnaires, analysis of data using.a test wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test,. The results showed that before and after the interveo.ti.on period seizure f'reqw!ncy. duration of attacks and normal recovery timeresults shoWed a significan1 decrease in the frequency of seizures while the intervention group (p =0.604), the control groilp (p = 0.655), duration of seizures in the. intervention .group (p "' 0.008), th.e control group (p = O.l 57) and the normal recovery time from seizure intervention group (p = 0.014}, th¢ control group (p = 1.000). Stress management techniques S"EFT (SpiriiUal Emotional Freedom Tehnique) can reduce tile frequency of seizures in patients with epilepsy. SEFT techniques need to be applied to patients. to reduce the frequency of epileptic seizures in order to h~orease the degree of health of th.e patient so that the quality oflife for the better.
