Abstract
Nowadays the incidence of cerebrovascular diseases including stroke was increased, it would be influence the brai~ structurally or functionally such as defisit self care, altered verbal communicatio~ etc. The objective of this research is to identify the differences of client"s behaviour before and after stroke incidens which having defisit self care by using Orem' s model. The design of this research is one group pre and post test. The samples are selected by purposive sampling. The are 10 respondens. The data needded in this research are collected by observation and interview in stroke unit RSUD Dr. Soetomo Surabaya. If computed statistically by wilcoxon signed rank test with p <= 0,05.
