Abstract
Abstract Video conferencing and the use of e-Iearning media, grade 10 students experience anxiety and stress with moderate and severe ranges. Things that cause anxiety and stress in grade 10 students are difficulty concentrating, stress and lack of motivation. Purpose of this study was to determine effect of brain gym on anxiety and stress levels in experimental and control groups. Methods: This research design is Quasi Experimental Design (quasi-experimental). Population of 10th grade research was 144 and the research-reached population was 76 students. Sample in this research is 70 respondents divided into 35 experimental group and 35 control groups. This sample was taken from the population of 10th grade students of SMKN 4 Surakarta and it was using simple random sampling technique. Independent variable in this study is Brain Gym. Dependent variable in this study is Anxiety and Stress in online learning. This data taken include respondents' characteristics, respondents' demographic and anxiety levels with the HARS questionnaire and stress levels with PSS-I 0 questionnaire. Analysis in this research used Mann Whitney statistical test and Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test with a significance level ofp<0.05. Results: Based on the results of the study, there was a significant difference in giving brain gym to the level of anxiety and stress in the 10th grade students of the experimental group. It is proven by the results of the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test analysis p = 0.000. Statistical test Mann Whitney Test results obtained p = 0.000. The results of the study concluded that there was an effect of brain gym on the level of anxiety and stress in online learning in 10th graders. Discussion: Brain gym intervention can increase students concentration, reduce students feeling of stress, and can increase students motivation in participating in online learning. Students can carry out brain gym interventions to reduce anxiety and stress in participating in online learning.
