Abstract

Zeolite material is available so much in Indonesia because most area in Indonesia are volcanic mountain, which is source of Zeolite minerals. According to the geologist’s research, there has been found 47 location of zeolites mining in Indonesia, the three are in East Java is Sumbermanjing-Wetan, Kedung Banteng village and Sumber Agung village in South Malang and Slaung Ponorogo, approximately have million tons stocks. Natural zeolite is used as adsorbent for contaminant, as fertilizer in agriculture, adsorp heavy metal in the soil, in medical as source of toothpaste, teeth resin, to vanish breathesmelt, burn handling, in life environment as prevention stuff or reduce environment pollution (adsorp air pollutant, adsorp waste of radioactive), to care lake, river and pond, in industrial as a paper filling material, adsorbe ink, as detergent’s compiler, catalist, vegetables dryer, fruits, to pure natural gas and the others. The principle the use of Zeolite in medical, cattle raising, agriculture, industrial and life environment because of adsorption capacity that is had by zeolite.
