Abstract

Writing a storybook is an interesting work for every person who likes to write. Storybook is a type of book who tells story completed with the illustrations. Hence, in creating storybook needs effort in many aspects, two of them are sentence structures and expressions. Those matters push the writer to figure out how to write the storybook with correct sentence structures and expressions. Furthermore, by writing the storybook with correct sentence structures and expressions, it could ease the targeted readers to understand the contents of the storybook. Based on the analysis, the writer found six sentence structures, twenty narrative expressions, and twelve past time expressions. Those aspects can be used in writing a decent storybook.
