Abstract

Riddle is a term that denotes a challenging and confusing problem that requires resolution (Yuliarsih, 2022, as cited in Evans, 1957). Riddle games are not only challenging but also train children to focus and strengthen their memory. This final report aims to introduce riddle books as a medium of education to children in a fun way. because the riddle book is aimed at children, so the selection of images and colors must be interesting. This final report uses qualitative research by observing a project book, which is a riddle book. This final report resulted in a riddle book entitled “Who am I? Profession Edition.” In this riddle book, the writer used four types of sentences based on the theories of Oshima and Hogue (2006). The writer mostly used simple sentences in her riddle book. Furthermore, in every sentence, there must be a noun. The writer used six types of nouns based on the theories of Mauludin and Ardianti (2022). Common nouns are the most frequently used by the writer. It can be concluded that in writing a riddle book, there are things that must be considered so that readers can understand the context well.
