Abstract
Backgrund: Diseases Prevention is the most important thing in consummating health rate on communities and individuals. It also relates by achieving The Millennium Development Goals on Health, one of them is decreasing children mortality by < 5 years to 2/3 in 2015 from death in 1990. Epidemiology data shows the existence of non-specific effects (NSEs) phenomenon or non-related target by giving some vaccine to newborn babies. Vaccine that was given in Sweden since 80 years ago gave impact on general reduction, also as well as in Senegal the success of measles vaccination was followed by a rise of female children mortality. NSEs from giving this vaccine has double meaning which can be profitable or harmful. Purpose : The purpose of this research is to prove existence of difference between adhesion sensitivity of Shigella flexneri on enterocyte mencit Balb/c after giving L20B cell culture supernatant that was displayed by Oral Polio Vaccine (OPV). Methods: The first step is analytic research to prove that L20B Cell Culture is able to incrase IFN-g, IL-12, IL-10, IL-6, and TNF-a that was displayed by OPV. The second step is laboratory experimental research in vitro with Randomized Control Group Post Test Only design to prove that there is difference about adhesion S. flexneri on enterocyte Balb/c mice after giving of supernatant of L20B cells displayed with OPV. The L20B Cell Supernatant Culture displayed by OPV with concentrations of 0%, 12,5%, 25%, 50% dan 100% is coated to enterocytes Balb/c mice and then is infected with S. flexeneri, painted with Gram staining observed under microscope with large field by counting S flexneri which stickled on 100 enterocyte. Statistic results analyzed with T examination and Anova. Result: Research result shows that the L20B cell culture supernatant which was displayed by OPV is just IFN-g, IL-12 and IL-10 that have meaningful difference compared to control group. There were no meaningful differences on giving L20B cell culture supernatant which was displayed by OPV between 0% with 12.5%, but there was meaningful differences between giving L20B cell culture supernatant exposed to 0% OPV with 25%, 50% and 100%. Conclusion: L20B cell culture could increase secretion of IFN-g, IL-12 and IL-10 and there were index differences of adhesion S flexneri on Balb/c mice enterocyte after giving L20B cell culture supernatant which was meaningful differences between giving L20B cell culture supernatant exposed to 0% OPV with 25%, 50% and 100%.
