Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on open and close houses broiler farms with a partnership pattern. Harvest data for 29 open houses and 32 close houses broiler farm in Malang, Mojokerto, Lumajang and Kediri areas were taken one year before and after the WHO announced the COVID-19 pandemic. The data obtained were then processed in Microsoft excel and statistically analyzed using repeated measure ANOVA with Statistical Product and Service Solutions software. The Covid-19 pandemic had a positive impact on the performance of BW and FCR(p<0.05), but did not affect the depletion and IP (p>0.5) of broilers in partnership patterns in open and closed cage systems. The Covid-19 pandemic only affects the income of broiler breeders in the open house system, while the closed house system is not affected. There is no interaction between the type of cage and observations before and after the pandemic on the performance and income of farmers.
