Abstract

In 2016 Bojonegoro get the fourth ranks with the highest maternal mortality rate in East Java. Based on the results of the evaluation is estimated 90% of maternal deaths originated from pregnant women at high risk. The incidence of pregnant women needs to be monitored with good recording and reporting systems as they require the precise and prompt information, and immediate handling. The study aimed to develop monitoring database of pregnant women at high risk as an instrument for monitoring and evaluation of pregnant women at high risk in Bojonegoro. This was a design development with action research start from analysis of system that is running, identifying requirement of data and information, design a data base model, and also make a trial and evaluation the database model that has been developed. The results of analyzing stage of running system was found the problem on the input, process, and output. Based on the identification of data and information requirements there are some data that has not been accommodated in the data base of running system and there is information that can not be displayed. The database was designed using php MySql programming based on web applications that can be accessed via computer or mobile devices connected to the internet. Based on the trial process, developed database was simple and easy to learn, easy to use, can fulfilled the information requirements, acceptable and can be applied, useful for monitoring and decision-making, and the good quality of data produced either. By implementing this database, monitoring activities of pregnant women at high risk can run more optimally. So it necessary to be facilitated for socialization and training activities so that the health workers are more skilled
